Yes. NfcPress is a white-label platform. Your customers order through a URL you control, cards are programmed via your admin panel, and all customer-facing touchpoints are branded with your logo, colours, and domain. NfcPress does not appear in the customer experience.

Once you have printed a card on your UV printer, you open the activation screen in the NfcPress admin panel, scan the QR code printed on the blank card stock, and confirm it against the customer order. The NFC chip is now live and redirects to the customer's URL. Total time: under 60 seconds per card. No NFC handheld writer or special hardware is required.

Yes. NfcPress supports bulk orders via CSV upload. You upload a spreadsheet with each recipient's details, the system generates personalised cards at scale, and you print the batch from a single print-ready PDF. The admin panel tracks each card individually through fulfilment.

An NFC business card is a physical card (same size as a credit card) embedded with a Near Field Communication chip. When someone taps it against a modern smartphone, the phone instantly opens a URL — a digital profile, website, or LinkedIn profile. No app is required. NfcPress cards also include a printed QR code as a universal fallback for phones that do not support tap.

Log into your self-serve dashboard at the URL you were sent when your card was activated. Go to the 'My Card' section and enter your new URL. The change takes effect immediately — no reprinting, no contacting support.

Yes. iPhone XS and XR (2018) or newer with iOS 12 or later support background NFC reading — the phone reads the tag automatically when you tap it, without needing to open an app. Earlier iPhones (iPhone X, 8, and 7) require a dedicated NFC reader app. iPhones older than iPhone 7 (iPhone 6 and below) do not support NFC at all. Nearly all modern iPhones (2018+) work seamlessly. Android phones have supported NFC for over a decade. If a phone does not support NFC, the QR code on the card works as a fallback on any smartphone camera.

Log into your dashboard and update your redirect URL to a page that explains your card has been lost (or simply leave it pointing to your LinkedIn or website). You can order a replacement card through the same shop where you bought the original. Your account and profile data are preserved.

Both. NfcPress supports two modes: direct link (the tap immediately opens the URL you choose — LinkedIn, a website, a Calendly booking page) and hosted profile page (a styled page with your photo, bio, contact buttons, and social links). You can switch between modes anytime from your dashboard.

The NFC chip has no battery — it is powered by the electromagnetic field from the reader (your phone) and has no moving parts. It does not wear out. The card itself is subject to the same physical wear as any standard business card. NfcPress cards are standard CR80 size and can be stored in a wallet like a bank card.

NfcPress works with standard NFC NTAG213/215 chips embedded in CR80 card stock. These are the most widely supported chips for URL-redirect use cases and are compatible with all NFC-enabled smartphones.

No custom domain is required to launch. Each operator gets a subdomain under nfcpress.vanderlore.de. Custom domain support can be configured separately if you want the platform running entirely under your own brand domain.

NFC taps resolve to a URL stored on the chip itself, not through NfcPress servers. The only time NfcPress servers are involved is when a cardholder is redirected through the NfcPress redirect service or loads their profile page. If you use direct-link mode on a card (chip stores the final URL directly), the card continues to work independently of any server.
